Northamptonshire Police is appealing for witnesses after a driver was kidnapped at gunpoint. The Polish driver was threatened at the Rothersthorpe service station by a three-strong gang before being driven in his Iveco curtain-sided lorry to Moulton.
The gang then put the driver into a white Transvit van and stole the 32-pallet load of Samsung televisions from the truck. They abandoned the driver in Oxfordshire near the Baynards Green/Cherwell Valley services.
The lorry was found
torched near Wellham, Leicestershire.
