The much revised new Peugeot Boxer goes on sale in the UK this month, with a range starting price of £15,150 (ex-VAT) for the 330 L1 H1 Panel van. The new range will comprise four body versions: panel van window van chassis cab and crew cab. They will be powered by three engine options and for the van range a payload from 1,100kg to 1,575kg.
A wider range of load volumes than previously are now available, ranging from 8cu m to 13cu m compared to the out going models' 9cu m to 12cu m. Ford
in the US has agreed to build a commercial chassis by 2008 using the Azure Dynamics system. Azure is the company that had extended trials of a London taxi, which it said were a technical success.
