Ian Baxter is urging UK industry to welcome business opportunities from Romania and Bulgaria. The managing director of Nottingham-based RH Freight anticipates "great opportunities for British business" when the two eastern European countries enter the EU in January.
RH Freight offers a weekly service to both countries in partnership with CETA in Bucharest, Romania and Werta in Bulgaria's capital, Sofia. Baxter anticipates the service will become twice-weekly. He has "no plans at the moment"
to employ Bulgarian and Romanian workers.
