The owner of a Northern Ireland haulage firm and a Sunderland driver have appeared in court after £18 million-worth of cannabis was found hidden in a truck. Martin Kerfoot, 39, from Bangor, Co. Down and Stephen McGivern, 31, were charged with drug possession and intent to supply. The court heard that police raided the premises of Privilege Removal and Storage Company and discovered the cannabis in one of the trucks. The two men were remanded in custody to a further hearing.
