The 2.5-litre D-4D common-rail diesel engine remains, but torque has been boosted by 20%. The 94hp version is rated at 230Nm while the most powerful 115hp Hiace achieves 294Nm. Service intervals remain unchanged at 20,000 miles, with an oil and filter change still required at 10,000 miles.
The external styling changes have taken place at the front, namely a new bonnet, lights, grille and bumper. Toyota says the interior has a more car-like appearance and satellite navigation appears on
the options list for the first time.
