Pulling pints for Carlsberg

26 October 2006

Andrew Davis, national fleet manager at Carlsberg, explains that its trucks are normally maintained by subcontractors, but it decided on a change of policy as insurance against the new technology. "This way we are able to minimise exposure to high costs in years seven and eight," he tells MT. MAN dealers will carry out the maintenance at Carlsberg's RDC's using the brewer's Vehicle Maintenance Units.

The trucks, which consist of 60 TGM 26-tonne urban artics and 18 TGA 6x2 tractors, join  a 340-strong predominantly Volvo FL fleet.
