Hino popularity increasing

26 October 2006

Hino dealer MTC Northwest is delivering repeat orders this month to tipper operators PJ Cahill, Redgate Holdings and Wm Quinn Group. Redgate MD John Murphy says payload fuel and reliability from its first two Hinos have helped win the new order. The firm has bought Dafs and Fodens in the past, from the same dealer.

The Hino was collected from the Port of Liverpool just 24 hours after being ordered, with Thompson Loadmaster body, Hyva tipping gear, automatic sheeting, air Conditioning and  colour reversing camera and display fitted.

MTC started with Hino in the second quarter of 2006. It says that of 34 trucks deloivered so far, it has had just eight warranety claims and 7.4 hours' labour. The dealer expects to deliver 50-60 trucks this year and at least 100 chassis next year. Liverpool is benefiting from work for European City of Culture in 2008.
