Bibby Distribution has bought freight forwarder Archfield Shipping as part of its expansion into the air-freight sector. This follows Bibby's acquisition of PD Freight Management - also in the freight-forwarding business - and Hammond Logistics Group.
Bibby development director Tony Mohan says: "The Archfield Shipping operation is a perfect fit with our international division, strengthening existing services as well as providing an opportunity to develop into air freight."
