Agility was unveiled as the new brand name for the PWC Logistics group, which plans to join the top eight global logistics providers by 2008. There are "specific expansion plans for eastern Europe", Europe CEO Beat Simon said in London this week.
Agility includes Geologistics but will become the sole brand name after a process of dual branding. PWC bought Agility Logistics, a UK chemical transport firm, three months ago. PWC Logistics was founded in 1979 in Kuwait and acquired Geologistics
in 2005.
