Econ Engineering has won a £900,000 contract with Ringway Infrastructure Services (RIS), which has itself just signed a five-year/£470m maintenance contract with Kent County Council.
Econ will be supplying RIS with 31 Daf LF55 4x2 tipper chassis fitted with spreaders and multi-purpose Unibodies. The vehicles will handle jobs including winter maintenance, emergency response and specialist surface treatments.
Snowploughs are also being supplied to Ringway it is possible to adjust
the angle of the blades from within the cab in order to work around obstructions such as parked cars.
