FTA's new policy people in rail, sea and air

The FTA has made new appointments for its rail, sea and air policy and representation work. Christopher Snelling is the new head of rail freight and global supply chain logistics policy. He has previously worked as public affairs manager for RAC/Norwich Union. Joining him is current FTA employee Chris McRae as rail freight and global supply chain logistics policy manager. McRae will be responsible for transport health and safety policy, and retain his current responsibility for dangerous goods  policy.

Martyn Gent joins Gilbarco Veeder-Root as UK manager of commercial fuelling solutions, responsible for expansion plans. Gent was previously business development director at Triscan/Meggitt Petroleum Systems.

Management services firm Triangle has appointed Gary Coyle to head up its postal division. Coyle has more than 20 years experience in post office networks. Jeff Rees has joined logistics consultancy The Logistics Business, specialising in system analysis and design. Rees has 16 year experience with logistics system.
