Famac bought by Home Delivery Group

30 November 2006

The Antrim-based firm was forced into liquidation after severe losses, and is believed to owe creditors as much as £2m after a major contract loss. Famac had a parcel delivery network covering the whole of Ireland.

The sale to Home Delivery Network was handled by KPMG Belfast. Around 150 jobs are reported to have been saved by the deal, which was announced last week.
