Drinks company Global Brands has replaced an agreement with a local independent tyre dealer with a joint ATS Euromaster and Michelin policy. "Appointing ATS Euromaster means our commercial vehicles benefit from six-weekly tyre inspections backed up by a comprehensive reporting structure, allowing us to closely monitor tyre wear and performance," says commercial director of Global Brands Alison Morrison.
"The nationwide branch coverage also allows us to put 100 per cent of our tyre business through one service provider, which in turn leads to greater economies of scale." She is confident that careful monitoring of tyre pressures will result in a lower annual fuel bill for the drinks company. Chesterfield-based Global Brands runs a 24-strong CV fleet.
