Cross-Channel traffic grew by 5% in the first quarter of 2006 compared with the same period in 2005, new government figures show. This reflects a more buoyant Eurozone economy, says the FTA. The share of accompanied traffic taken by UK-registered trucks is up slightly at 26% from 25%.
