Trans Haul celebrates good month with new tractors

07 December 2006

Bedfordshire haulier Trans Haul (UK) has capped a successful month with the acquisition of two new Scania R420 tractor units.

The firm has also topped the list of fastest growing hauliers in the sub-£10m turnover category compiled by our sister title Motor Transport in the last year its turnover has risen from £1.2m to £2.5m.

Trans Haul puts its success down to a number of blue-chip clients including Lufthansa subsidiary LSG Sky Chefs.

Aaron Elvines, business development  manager at Trans Haul, says: "We have current warehouse space of 7,000m2 at Leighton Buzzard and 5,600m2 at Pitstone [Bucks]. We're increasing this by adding 7,000m2 next door to our Leighton Buzzard site. Of the new site, available in January, 4,600m2 will be used by LSG Sky Chefs."

Trans Haul was started in 1987 by current MD Nigel Machado with one van it has since grown to a fleet of 10 LGVs and three vans.
