Prohire and Clipper Group Holdings have made it into this year's Sunday Times Fast Track 100, which lists the 100 fastest-growing private companies in the UK.
Staffordshire-based leasing company Prohire reached 97th place with a £12.2m turnover and year-to-date pre-tax profit of £939,000. CEO Colin Walton says: "The good position we are in is due to a strong all-round performance. Our customers have grown and we've grown with them."
Prohire, founded in 1997, made the list in 2005
in 99th position since then it has boosted sales by 63%, pushing it up two places.
Trailing Prohire in 98th place is logistics company Clipper Group Holdings. Clipper recorded a £45m turnover and a 63% growth in sales its customers include Woolworths, Adidas and Prada.
