Bodybuilder Trumac Group is celebrating 70 years of operation at its site in Westbury, Wiltshire.
The site began making bodywork for transporting the milk churns also made there by C W Godden. Subsequently it was bought by Unigate, part of which became Wincanton, then (in 1986) Mackworth Bodies. In 1991 this was bought by GRP Group and became GRP Westbury.
There was a management buyout in 2003, and last year the company was renamed Trumac Group. The firm is currently investing
£500,000 on site improvements.
