Operators with an interest in the use of longer, heavier vehicles (LHVs) are being encouraged to complete an online questionnaire on the subject.

The Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) and the Logistics Research Centre at Heriot-Watt University are currently undertaking a study for the Department for Transport on the potential role of longer and/or heavier vehicles in  the UK. They are seeking the views of industry on the likely demand for LHVs and their possible effect on companies' current transport operations.
