Avia will extend its model range this year, with the launch of a new range of 12-tonners expected at this year's CV Show.
The D120 will be powered by the Cummins ISBe 4.5-litre engine rated at 185hp. Avia will also show its new urban artic, which it hopes will take it into new sectors, including the brewery industry.
The company, which was purchased by Indian automotive giant Ashok Leyland last year, is optimistic that it will increase its UK presence this year. It currently has 15 sales and 25 service dealers in the UK, and is confident that it will double these figures.
The Czech-built truck, which was designed in Worthing, West Sussex and uses a large number of UK components, is being offered with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty.
