Essex-based brick and block haulier EJ Field sold its Hanson sand and gravel operation to Seymour Transport this week. As well as taking on the Hanson contract, which involves the delivery of pre-packed sand and gravel to Wickes and other DIY superstores, Maidstone-based Seymour Transport also takes on ten drivers, ten trucks and 18 curtainsiders.
