MAN is to offer its Fleet Management package as standard on all vehicles supplied with its repair and maintenance contracts.
The new web-based package is powered by Microlise, a Nottingham-based specialist in supply-chain management systems. It allows operators to record and display all documentation required for Vosa compliance as well as track all areas of vehicle maintenance.
In addition, the MAN Vehicle Performance system will be standard for all TGA trucks with R&M deals.
The system monitors the usage and driving performance of the vehicle in real time, allowing users to manage fuel efficiency. This is designed to cut fuel consumption and wear and tear.
