The Road Haulage Association (RHA) has called on the Highways Agency to stop the implementation of two LGV overtaking bans on the A1(M) which are due to start on 28 March.
Jack Semple, RHA head of policy, says: "The overtaking ban on the M42 was supposed to be a test - but no one has so far discussed the results of the trials. This is very unsatisfactory."
