Barry Moore Haulage goes for Renault Premium

26 March 2007

Somerset-based Barry Moore Haulage, a Palletways member, has taken delivery of a Euro 4 Renault Premium 450.25. The 6x2 tractor unit with double-deck trailer will be used as the company’s trunking vehicle, transporting approximately 700 pallets a week.

Managing director Barry Moore says: “We have had two Renault Trucks previously - one of which was second-hand – and I couldn’t fault them.” The company’s fleet has historically been made up of DAF and Volvo, and this is  its first automatic truck. “After our experience with the new Premium, we are certainly converted to Renault Trucks and there will definitely be more orders to come.”

He also praises the ‘exceptional service’ received by Renault Trucks South West: “We are thoroughly looked after by the team at both Renault Trucks South West and Renault Repairer AE George of Bruton - the after-sales care is excellent.”

Barry Moore Haulage was established in June 1997 and operates from its base in Shepton Mallet, Somerset. It joined the Palletways network in 2003.
