Routeing and scheduling company Paragon and tracking company Isotrak are launching a joint product to enable large fleets to update their schedules and allocation of vehicles and drivers throughout the day.
"For the first time transport managers will be able to adjust route plans in real time in response to unforeseen circumstances," says Will Salter, Paragon's MD. It will help transport planners decide whether a delayed driver can do a second trip and make the best use of vehicles. Customers
will be able to see a constantly updated airport-style arrival time board.
