Transport Minister Stephen Ladyman has given the go-ahead for a 3.7km stretch of dual carriageway on the A14 between Haughley New Street and Stowmarket, Suffolk. Work is due to start in the summer; it will not affect the existing A14. The project is expected to take 19 months.
