Planners have come out strongly against proposals for a new truck depot in Derbyshire. JYPH Transport of Clay Cross had applied to North East Derbyshire Council for permission to open a major new truck depot in the village.
But planners took the side of local residents who had written letters objecting and had raised a petition, citing their concern over increased truck movements. The application will now go to full council.
