Tesco is operating this CNG-powered low-entry Mercedes-Benz 26-tonner out of its Harlow distribution centre. The 6x2 Econic 2628, more commonly seen as a refuse vehicle which is fitted with Gray & Adams bodywork and Carrier refrigerator, has a bus-type nearside door to aid kerbside access. It is photographed here making one of its first deliveries to a London branch of Tesco Extra.
