The RHA is warning hauliers that it has less than a week to tell Mayor of London Ken Livingstone to "can" his proposals for a London low emission zone (LEZ). Livingstone will make his decision on the plans, following the recent consultation period, next Tuesday (May 8).
Director of policy Jack Semple states: " The zone will be highly expensive and bring minimal benefit. Ken should ask himself this. If he decides to scrap the plans who exactly will stand up and shout 'Where's my low emission zone?'"
