Container haulier Bowmur Haulage is changing its name to Pentalver Cannock in the summer to reflect its parent company - a move which will go hand in hand with the switch to a new £10m site in Staffordshire.
The Pentalver Group, which bought Bowmur two years ago, already has Pentalver Southampton and Pentalver Felixstowe.
Group managing director Brian Tattersall says: "We are proud of the Pentalver name and with the move from Wedges Mills to Rumer Hill we thought it would be the
ideal time to bring Bowmur under the same umbrella."
He stresses that the name change and site switch will take place in August and Bowmur will be used until then.
Pentalver, part of shipping line Maersk, purchased Bowmur Haulage in May 2005.
