Moffett profits from Working at Height rules

08 May 2007

The introduction of Working at Height regulations in 2005 have led to an increase in demand for Moffett truck-mounted forklift trucks.

National sales manager John Bailey explains that hauliers "don't want to mess around with time-consuming safety products" like scaffolding and inflatable platforms, so are investing in Moffett's forklifts. "It enables them to unload safely, without having to climb onto the truck," he says.

Moffett  launched a number of new truck-mounted forklift trucks at the CV Show, including the Telemount. It allows the operator to load and unload a truck from one side, and has a lifting capacity of 2.5 tonnes.

"Last year was our best ever year," says UK MD Nigel Brook.
