Tippers return to Harrogate for Tip-Ex 2007

10 May 2007

Tippers returned to Harrogate last week for the first time in 10 years for Tip-Ex 2007. More than 125 exhibitors supported the three-day show, which attracted 4,000 visitors.

Some exhibitors were concerned with the lack of visitors by the close of day two. But that evening's Tip-Ex Gala dinner attracted more than 400 visitors to the Yorkshire town and a large number of visitors came along to the show on the final day, including many small operators who had been working their vehicles during  the week.

"The show has been extremely well received," said Steve Gray of show organiser G&T Events. "It's exceeded all our expectations and has proven there is a demand for a focused bulk tipper show in the UK."

Tip-Ex 2008 is scheduled for 23-25 May 2008. Gray says: "We're taking over the whole of the exhibition centre next year and we're anticipating a doubling of stand space."
