Heathrow-based PRS Distribution has taken delivery of a pair of Volvo FM9.300 rigids with Globetrotter cabs and Prestrige trim. The trucks, with Boalloy box and curtainsider bodies, join a 30-strong mixed fleet.

"We don't have any allegiance to any one manufacturer, so it all depends on what deals are around at the time," says MD Paul Sawdon. "We might do a deal with DAF and then not see the salesman again. And then the next one to turn up might be a Scania salesman. At the moment Volvo  is being very proactive."

Sawdon tells MT he is experiencing no hassle with AdBlue, adding that he "can't understand what all the hype was about. It's just like the working time directive," he says. "Everyone said that would be a major hassle but we all got through it."
