Merseyside Police is appealing for witnesses to the murder of a W H Smith delivery driver who was killed when he fell from the rear of his van as it was being hijacked.
Henry McHarron had been dropping off papers in the Norris Green area of Liverpool when the hijacker got in and drove off. As he sped away McHarron was flung onto the road, striking his head.
The incident occured on April 20. McHarron died in hospital two days later.
A Police spokeswoman confirms that a murder
hunt is under way and adds, "Officers are keen to talk to witnesses who may have seen what happened."
