Tip-Ex 2007 returned to Harrogate for the first time in ten years with trailer, body and auxiliary equipment manufacturers using it to launch dozens of new products, normally reserved for the CV Show. Health and safety was the theme for Abba Commercials who introduced an experimental 180 degree rotary tipper on a 7.5-tonne Mitsubishi rigid, and a pull-out ladder for access into the back of an 8x4 tipper body.
Fruehauf launched a trailer and two bodies, Aliweld showed a new lightweight aggregate trailer, Wilcox has moved into steel fabrication, Environmental Trailers debuted an American-style moving-floor trailer built in Belgium, and French aluminium trailer manufacturer specialists Benalu introduced two lightweight trailers to the UK market. After a slow start exhibitors felt the right people were attending and cited quality over quantity as they booked their stand for next year.
