Seafield drops 20% target

17 May 2007

Seafield Logistics will not meet its ambition of 20% turnover growth this year, but aims to become a £100m turnover company in the next five years.

MD Mark Strong says the redevelopment of a key warehouse in Aylesham means turnover is static at present. "The facility there has been closed for about a year but will re-open in July. The 20% figure won't happen in the current year but the underlying trend is positive. We are still confident of making the £100m target."

The company has  appointed Mark Hansard, previously at Bibby Distribution, as head of sales.
