Renault Trucks South has won a contract to replace East Dorset Housing Association's (EDHA) mixed Ford, Mercedes-Benz and Isuzu fleet with Renault vans. The order is for a total of 47 vans, including 21 Master tipper and panel vans and 19 long-wheelbase Trafics. They are finished in EDHA's new livery and will be used to undertake kitchen and bathroom refurbishment.
Shelley Davies, property maintenance division manager, EDHA says: "Our existing fleet is made up of a number of different manufacturers and was proving costly and difficult to administer. We decided to switch to one manufacturer to give us a single port of call and improve service delivery. We chose Renault due to its extensive vehicle range. We have a number of the new vehicles already in service and feedback from our workforce has been very positive.
"We estimate that the package put together for us by Renault Trucks South could save as much as £30,000 per annum."
