Flettner Ventilator, which manufactures spinning roof-mounted vents for vans, says today's litigious culture is leading to an increase in demand for its products.
A spokesman for the company tells MT that wind-powered extractors are "probably the most effective way to prevent the build-up of fumes". He explains that not only are toxic fumes given off by paints, chemicals and gases, but also by products such as MDF and tyres.
"The law states that 'adequate ventilation' must be provided in such circumstances," he says.
