Darch Oil chooses Scanias

02 June 2007

Darch Oil has added a Scania R-Series tractor and a pair of P-Series rigids to its fleet. The 6x2 R480 is a twin-steer model, and is equipped with the Highline cab. It is paired with a 37,000-litre multi-compartment Heil tank, mounted on a Thompson Carmichael chassis. It will be used to replenish the Somerset-based company's own fuel stock and for deliveries to transport companies in the South-west.

Darch Oil's general manager Kevin Levy cites EGR as a key reason for opting for Scania.  "Quite simply, AdBlue is not the answer for us," he says.
