Scania is to promote head of sales and service management Hans-Christer Holgersson to be managing director of its UK operation. Holgersson will replace Dan Hoij, who will be retiring at the end of August.
The move comes as part of a shake-up within Scania's executive board. Urban Erdtman, who is currently Scania's senior vice-president of sales and services management, will replace Holgersson as head of sales and services management he will be joining the board of directors.
Senior
vice-president of franchise and factory sales Martin Lundstedt replaces Per-Erik Lindquist as head of franchise and factory sales. He will also be joining the board. Lindquist is scheduled to leave Scania on 1 July. No one from Scania was available to comment on the board changes.
