De Rijke has taken delivery of 17 FH 400 Volvo tractor units - the first Volvos to be purchased for its UK operation. They were supplied via Thomas Hardie Commercials in Trafford Park, Manchester and Volvo Truck Centre of Rotterdam, Holland.
De Rijke's Volvos use SCR technology to meet Euro-4. They feature Globetrotter cabs, Comfort and lightweight Esteppe mid-lift axles to help them run at the UK's 44-tonne limit. Other weight saving options include alloy wheels and I-Shift.
