Newcastle upon Tyne-based construction equipment supplier Nixon Hire has acquired three Volvo FE rigids two tankers and one beavertail-bodied 6x4, all with 320hp engines and nine-speed manual boxes. They will operate from Nixon's Scotland and Carlisle depots.
The tankers are fitted with 3,000 gallon (13,638lit) through-chassis tanks with Buckingham pumping equipment the low-loader has Sterling beavertail ramps and a payload capacity of 15 tonnes.
