TIP Trailer Services has just sold its 500th trailer using TIP Equipment Funding (TEF), a product it launched just five months ago. Under the scheme the company uses its pan-European links with trailer manufacturers and banks and finance companies, to achieve what it describes as the "most cost-effective solution for funding equipment".
John Murray, MD UK & Ireland, TIP Trailer Services, says: "We always believed that TEF was a very competitive and proven model for funding trailer acquisition,
however the speed with which it has taken off has been impressive, achieving the 500 milestone so quickly. The other significant fact with TEF is that the majority of deals, secured with TEF funding, have been with blue chip companies who are new to TIP, enabling us to considerably expand our customer portfolio."
