Montracon is to supply Dawson Rentals with 1,000 trailers, in what is one of its largest ever single orders. The trailers are a mix of flats, curtainsiders and box vans, and the first batch is due for delivery next month.
Meanwhile TIP Trailer Services has announced an £8m investment in its fleet, having placed an order with several manufacturers for 375 new trailers. TIP is stepping-up its presence in the reefer market, and has purchased 165 Schmitz Cargobull trailers with a mix of Carrier
Transicold and Thermoking fridges.
