The Ray Smith Group has launched Easyloader, a unique up-and-over electric tail-lift for panel vans. The platform measures 1.3m wide by 1.5m long, and is capable of lifting 400kg. It is operated with a wireless controller and raises in stages, finishing flat against the van's ceiling.
As a result, access through the rear door is not hindered, and because the entire assembly is contained within the van, nothing projects externally. Peterborough-based Ray Smith Group says Easyloader weighs
150kg and can be fitted within three hours.
