VB Airsuspension has received a Letter of Non Objection (LONO) from Mercedes-Benz regarding its installation of air suspension on the Sprinter. It has already received LONOs from VW, Ford and Renault.
VB's UK MD Oliver Drinkwater says: "On vehicles fitted with ESP, the manufacturers are quite rightly nervous about this critical safety feature being compromised by aftermarket conversions to the vehicle. We have spent 18 months testing with the relevant factories to gain this status."
