Plane Handling buys 16 Renault Trucks

Airline handler Plane Handling has taken delivery of 10 Euro-2 Renault Premium 450.18 4x2 tractor units and six Euro-4 Renault Midlum 240.18 rigids it has also ordered 13 Renault Midlums. The trucks are the first Renaults to join the company's 66-stong fleet, replacing Volvos, MANs, Dafs and Ivecos.

The Renault Premiums will be used for nationwide collection and delivery of cargo, while the  Midlums have been fitted with specialist hydra-roll floors for the loading and unloading of cargo into aircraft at Heathrow. All bespoke bodywork was designed by Renault Trucks' Authorised Repairer, MTHL Fleet Services, and built by Transload.
