Masternaut has won a £1m, five-year contract with Barloworld Handling to provide web-based vehicle tracking for 550 service vehicles. Barloworld's forklifts offer round-the-clock maintenance services through around 23 regional support centres. Masternaut is being fitted to Barloworld's UK service fleet to boost its customer service
and improve efficiency.
As well as allowing a more response service, the Masternaut tracking system also provides benefits to security and safety, allowing quick retrieval of stolen vehicles and safe driving. Richard McKenzie, marketing manager at Barloworld, says: "Masternaut has enabled us to make some important changes in working practices to help cover travel costs and improve margins.
"The fact that Masternaut is web-based has really helped - not only is it accessible from anywhere but everyone has found it very easy to use."
