In time-honoured tradition, members of the Worshipful Company of Carmen brought more than 40 old and new trucks, vans, coaches and carts to London's Guildhall last week to be marked with a red-hot iron.
The CIty of London's annual ceremony for branding carts and carriers has been in place for centuries.
For 2007, vehicles took part in a parade and the Lord Mayor of London, Alderman John B Stuttard, acknowledged the importance of the transport and logistics industry to the London
economy.
