Senior representative of Dorset firm arrested

02 August 2007

Police have arrested six senior representatives at a Dorset haulage firm in connection with a fatal road crash in Wiltshire.

Three men and a woman were arrested on July 26 at the premises of Taymix and Translact on suspicion of corporate manslaughter. They were questioned at Salisbury police station before being released on bail. The next day two more men were arrested and released on bail.

The arrests follow an ongoing investigation into the crash on the A303 at Keysley Down,  Wiltshire last March. Two people were killed after a truck collided with their car, causing it to cross into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The Polish truck driver was arrested for causing death by dangerous driving.
