Welsh haulier Owens Road Services hopes to create up to 200 jobs after signing a deal for a new factory site in Port Talbot.
The operator is in talks with a large international company for a deal which will mainly cover storage and has taken the site at Baglan Energy Park in anticipation of finalising this.
Les Watts, commercial manager at Owens Road Services, says the 11,891m2 site will be in addition to its current site at Dafen and is likely to result in the creation of 150-200 jobs, with no job losses among the firm's current staff of 460.
"There will be some positions for drivers in that number," Watts says.
The company is believed to have taken a 15-year lease on the site, which is likely to become its headquarters.
